The Foundation’s strategic programming beneficiaries and/or partners include, but are not limited to, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), the University of Arkansas Black Alumni Society, Canopy NWA, Ozark Literary Council, AR Immigration Defense, Jack and Jill of America, Incorporated - Northwest Arkansas Chapter, We Write for You, Samaritan Community Center, Northwest Arkansas Children’s Shelter, the Northwest Martin Luther King, Jr. Council, and local schools. Through its annual Celebrity Waiter fundraiser, the Foundation raises funds and administers the Phi Alpha Omega Chapter Memorial Scholarship Program for qualified high school, undergraduate, and professional/ graduate schools.

The PAO Memorial Scholarship

The Foundation provides college scholarships for deserving high school, undergraduate, and graduate students from our community. Since its inception, more than 300 students have been awarded scholarships valued at almost $400,000.
